Youth CollaborAction

India Visit Village Volunteering

The development of the world today undergoes a process of change towards a new world order. Behind the change process itself, we cannot deny that there are still many people who still need our helping.

Based on the statement above, Youth CollaborAction plans to run the program India – VVV. Youth CollaborAction is a Non-Government Organization that was just founded on August, 2018.  India – VVV itself stands for Visit Village Volunteering in India.

Types of India – VVV activities are Homestay in several humanitarian institutes in India (spesifically not yet known). Bleak orphanages, disability, and others. The goals are to give enthusiasm to persons with disabilities and to introduce Indonesian language and culture in any cultural activities.

The reason we chose India, because of its rich cultural activities and somehow India and Indonesia has some similarity in any fields. it moved us to combine humanity, education, and additional culture

Dehradun – India,  also spelled Dehra Dun, is the interim capital of Uttarakhand, a state in India. Located in the Garhwal Region, it lies 236 kilometres north of India’s capital, New Delhi and 168 kilometres from Chandigarh. It is one of the “Counter Magnets” of the National Capital Region (NCR) being developed as an alternative centre of growth to help ease the migration and population explosion in the Delhi metropolitan area and to establish a smart city at Dehradun. During the days of British Raj, the official name of the town was Dehra. At present, Gairsain, a hill-town between Garhwal and Kumaon regions and centrally located in Uttarakhand, is being developed as permanent capital of the state. -wikipedia-

HIGHLIGHT

Diwali, or Dipawali, is India’s biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa)that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians.
