SHASSION #09: 101 Social Media Sanity

 

Burn-out or chronic stress conditions (according to WHO) has become an issue that we often hear recently, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This burn-out happens widely due to the influence of social media, which has more and more negative impacts than positive ones. This condition causes us to become tired, both physically and mentally. If ignored, the burn-out will interfere with the effectiveness of our life because it will be difficult for us to concentrate on doing the jobs that are our responsibility. Furthermore, burn-out can interfere with the quality of life so that it will cause new problems, and spinning can cause a burn-out condition that is more severe.

In this SHASSION, we will discuss the characteristics of someone who has a burn-out condition, how we can channel our energy to minimize the burn-out, and what are the innovative ways to socialize the media to prevent someone from getting burn-out.

Burn-out atau kondisi stress kronis (menurut WHO) menjadi isu yang sering kita dengar akhir-akhir ini, terutama pada masa pandemic covid-19. Burn-out ini sebagian besar disebabkan karena pengaruh sosial media yang semakin hari semakin banyak memberikan dampak negatif, dibandingkan dengan dampak positifnya. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kita menjadi lelah, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Jika didiamkan, kondisi burn-out akan mengganggu efektifitas hidup, karena kita akan sulit berkonsentrasi untuk mengerjakan pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang menjadi tanggung jawab kita. Lebih lanjut lagi, burn-out dapat mengganggu kualitas hidup sehingga justru akan menimbulkan masalah-masalah baru, dan berputar menimbulkan kondisi burn-out yang lebih parah.

Pada SHASSION ini, kita akan membahas mengenai ciri-ciri seseorang yang mengalami kondisi burn-out, bagaimana kita menyalurkan energi kita agar dapat meminimalisir kondisi burn-out, hingga cara yang inovatif untuk bersosial media demi mencegah seseorang terkena burn-out.
